Discovering Divine Grace at 49: The Inspiring Journey of Raibahadur H.V. Sathe to Shirdi

Raibahadur H.V. Sathe was a prominent personality who visited Shirdi in his late 40s. He was born in the year 1855 in a small village named Varkhedi in Maharashtra, India. After completing his education, he started working as a clerk in a British firm in Pune. Due to his hard work and dedication, he rose through the ranks and eventually became the managing director of the company.

In the year 1904, when he was 49 years old, Sathe came to know about the miracles of Sai Baba in Shirdi through his friend, Bapusaheb Jog. Intrigued by Baba’s miraculous powers, Sathe decided to visit Shirdi and seek his blessings.

When Sathe met Baba, he was deeply impressed by his divine aura and spiritual wisdom. Baba’s teachings had a profound impact on Sathe, and he became a staunch devotee of the saint.

Sathe was not only a devotee of Baba but also a philanthropist who dedicated his life to the betterment of society. He actively participated in social and religious activities and was known for his generosity towards the poor and needy.

Sathe continued to visit Shirdi regularly, and Baba also blessed him with several spiritual experiences. One of the notable incidents was when Baba appeared in his dream and told him that he would soon be blessed with a son. True to Baba’s words, Sathe’s wife gave birth to a healthy baby boy.

Sathe remained devoted to Sai Baba until his last breath and passed away in the year 1928. Even after his death, his legacy continued, and his family members established the Raibahadur H.V. Sathe Charitable Trust, which has been working for the welfare of society for many years.
